Fram Marine led the technical development of Equinor's Hywind, from Demo to design, used at Buchan Deep, the world's first floating pilot-scale wind farm that includes five 6 MW turbines. The development included system design and design of floating steel foundation, anchoring, infield and export cables, as well as methods for assembly and installation.

Project: DolWin Alpha converter station

Fram Marine provided Technical Project Manager who led a team responsible for the completion of all technical documentation. Also included obtaining government and customer approval before final submission.
Project: DolWin Beta Converter Station
Client: ABB
As Technical Project Manager responsible for the seawater system for Dolwin Beta. There were major operational problems with the seawater pumps that crashed several times. Diss had to be dismantled, sent to shore for repair, and then installed on board offshore again.
Project: Hurtigruten newbuild and upgrades

Fram Marine participated in the project group for the new Amundsen ship class with Explorer Cruise ships. This class of ships is constructed and built to the highest standard with environmentally friendly technology, and where the propulsion is hybrid technology to reduce fuel consumption and not least demonstrate that hybrid propulsion on large ships is possible.

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is one of the most important technologies for combating climate change. Fortum's CCS project in Oslo can annually remove as much as 400,000 tonnes of CO2, equivalent to the pollution from 60,000 cars from the energy recovery plant in Oslo.
